I have planned to get the JMM Race series headers and modify the current cat.
My question is are the redback systems from the cat back any good?
Cheers
Choca

Never been a huge fan of Redback, but I've never actually had anything of theirs. They are quite common because they are cheaper than most other brands, IMO the sound the put out is too tinny.
i'm pretty sure my GLASS PACK sports muffler on the crossflow is a red back they get noisier as time goes on if thats what i have. its about 2 years old done 80000kays and doesn't look like lasting much longer. it was the cheapest muffler suitable for this car that has o sporty note. took about a month before it sounded okay.
I was advised to put an XR6 muffler on but haven't enquired about that yet(for my XG)
i thought Redback were SH*T but i have seen and heard alot of people r happy for the quality 4 the price of em. i also thought mercury was SH*T but i heard a stage 1 302C in an XD and it sounded tough. i used a lukey on the stage 3 351C XD ute and it was quiet but when upped it sounded like "muffled thunder" !!! the lukey on my excel just sounds loud.
I run JMM Race series headers and a 2.5" Redback system.
These are the only Exausts i will recomend to Falcon owners.
Walker and Lukey just make noise.
Redback will be nice and sedate, with a tidy note at idle, but when you put your boot into it, roars.
Just ask anyone who has heard my car.
My brother has one on his EL, REdback cat back and it's good except it drones, but thats probably from the tip or something else i reckon, had it for about 2 years now with about 35,000km.
