Hmmm, let me see, remove a muffler..... Doing so will make your exhaust louder! DUH!

Re: thoughts on removing centre muffler

It may or may not work. With the BA XR8 it is lousy. If you do it you may have to find a rear muffler that works by itself, and or add in a centre resinator. It's all suck it and see. The best thing is to find an exhaust fitter with a good range of silencers who will help you.

Re: thoughts on removing centre muffler

cheers buddy. got the muffler removed and it sounds pretty good and seems to be a little freer at high revs but at the same time isnt to loud and doesnt drone so all in all the $80 i paid was worth it. its a turbo ute by the way.

Re: thoughts on removing centre muffler

Wanna sell me the centre muffler? I need a decent muffler for an old Patrol (2nd car) I'm doing up, and would prefer something nice and quiet like a late model muffler.
