Hey,

I noticed a little while ago, that whilst my car was idling (Park or Drive) there is black liquid spitting out of the exhaust. They're small drops, but continuos and seem to dry like dust/coal.

Probably obvious what it is (but alas I have no idea!!) so what could it be? My only guess is that it's running rich (don't even ask me how I concluded that! LOL)

mine does that too. dont know and probably dont care either. as long as im facing the front of the car im not too concerned with whats coming out of the exhaust.

When does it happen, when its cold?
I notinc mine doing it more now that teh exaust pipe dumps.

Mmm well I only just realised it now, so yes, when it's cold (cooler). I will check when it's warm.

I meant when the engine is cold, not the weather.

mine does the same,(when motor's cold) it would just be condensation and the carbon in the exhaust that builds up and drips out.

same problem and i've just put it down to condensation in the exhauste sytem

I realise what you meant If it's only condensation or something, does that mean you're saying that even from factory they would have done this?
