Re: Who has JMM Race Series Headers??

I have had extractors on prior cars before and I had to try really hard to notice the difference. With the race series header and 2.5 inch exhaust You will notice a huge difference..

Re: Who has JMM Race Series Headers??

I don't have the race series, but have the dedicated gas one's, and boy they are good on the straight gas motor.
Good throaty note, and a very noticeable improvement in throttle response.
Only got extractors, 2.5in exhaust, K&N filter and "T" series snorkel done but good, bloody good

Re: Who has JMM Race Series Headers??

You guys make me want to upgrade even more, sooner.
I have the older Scavanger headers and they are good themselves.

My Scavangers are being sold very soon, to finance my race series.

When I bought the race series for my XH, the plan was to fit the scavengers to our AU. When comparing the two, the only significant difference was the secondary length. Primary design and length was identical. Of course the race series were also mandrel bent, but I suspect the secondary length is what's giving the huge improvements down low.

I had my exhaust guy lengthen the secondaries when fitting them to the AU, I think he hit me for $80 or so.

From memory you need to add around 350mm.

Rick.
