Read Will AU Headers fit a EL with p's?

I've seen the new Headers from Pacemaker for AUII. The headers use a Cleveland diagonal bolt patten(plus oval ports in the headers) but they use a spacer plate/flange between the headers which uses the Windsor style horizontal bolt patten(and retangle port shape). These are just what I have been looking for, for my ported GT-40p heads. Does anyone know if the AU style headers will fit past the Steering shaft and firewall etc...

Or do Herrod sell a header for ED-EL for the gt-40p?

What was the reason the e.l's don't fit a.u's other than maybe bolt pattern?? Work it out that way ??

That you Graham? :)
No.. Pacemaker make a extra flange plate that sits between the header flange and head to bring the headers away from the P's spark plugs location. But not sure if the AU headers fit in EL bay.
