XC FAIRMONT

I got a XC 250 crossflow in her. I was gonaa buy sum new tri-y for it but then the a mate gave me a set should i use his ones made for em in the 70s-80-s or buy a new set. Would there be much difference. I already have the 2 1/4 System fitted can i hook the old extractors up to that.

use the ones your mate gave ya, as long as there are no leaks. Does it have a brand? there was a company advertising extractors for the XC in a very old motor or wheels mag of mine, it claimed 14HP i think. they look like they were tuned length and well designed too, so it would prob be true. if u tell me the name or take a photo of em, i will be able to say 4 sure if they are it. also help me to see if they are a good design.

i would giv em a clean up, remove the surface rust and give em a coat of hi temp paint. look the goods and protect em from any more corrosion.

Yer thanks for that mate i should be getting them in two days off him. I'm not sure wat they r but they are in ok condition. I get the photo on as soon as i get em.I'll look for sum names or numbers on em.

Also is there any way i can get em coated to make em look shiny like chrome.

You can get them HPC coated for a few hundred dollars , or a few tins of hitemp pain will also do nicely
