Hey all,

When Troy and I were cruising along the Great Ocean Road on Sunday, I decided to stop over and record the rather feral sound of my exhaust from behind the car on my new phone which is much clearer than my last phone. I have also recorded a few videos inside the car accelerating at night in on a highway onramp in the wet. I will post these within 24 hours, as I can't do it at work (no access to my webpage for some reason). You require Apple Quicktime (a 20mb download) to view/listen and I will add more if I get around to it, if people request certain things to hear. I'm proud and I want to share it with everyone even if I can't pull out a digital camera just yet like Timmeh!!

Tell you what mate, if when I finally get a decent exhaust on my Escort it sounds even half as good as your Focus (particularly if I also don't have "highway drone"), I'll be one very happy man!

Hehehe, thanks mate, it was interesting to see the differences between the old-school Mk II Escort and the new-school Focus. After being in a Focus being driven in a 'spirited' manner , I have to say that the Focus definately feels like the spiritual sucessor to the Escort.

My Escort might have the potential ot be a beast when it's complete, but I've got to say, your Focus is already a beast mate, if I was going to buy a new car, I have no doubt at all I'd be getting a Focus, and wanting to do the mods you've done, it seemed to love the GOR just as much as we did!

20 MB is huge for a sound file! Croikey! Spare us dialup type people the pain and use Windows Movie Maker or soemthing to make it smaller, please! Even my video was only 4MB with sound!
