20+ Horsepower Increase for your Focus. RaceMOD Performance chip only $29.99

RaceMOD's Performance Module is a great way to add up to 20+
horsepower to your car, truck or suv. It also provides torque
increases up to 12 lb+/ft., as well as improvements in throttle
response.

Only $29.99

Could this be a resistor used to modify the sensor output? i.e. a
resistor probably costing no more than 10 cents.

Quite possibly - at least as the profit margin on these things is concerned.
But in general, any such tweak that provides a useful power boost will
probably increase fuel consumption in normal driving, as well as require the
use of premium fuel.
