06MustangGT

The torque converter clutch seems to be engaging in reverse. The
transmission works fine in Drive. After replacing ALL of the fluid, 15.5
qts, and the filter, the problem still exists. Has anyone run into this
problem before.

Which trans do you have - the E4OD or the AOD? With 15.5
qts fluid, I suspect E4OD. If so, you may be looking at a
bad solenoid pack. It can be checked externally for
electrical problems. You will ned the ATSG manual for it to
get all the correct values. You may also have a related
fault code stored in the ECM if you scan it. Keep in mind
that many transmission problem like this are related to
engine problems.
