96 Taurus - Coolant flow direction

Which way does the coolant flow in the 1996 Ford Taurus with 3.0 L V6 OHV
engine?
Does it flow from:
1) thermistat -----> heater core -----> water pump
or
2) water pump -----> heater core -----> thermistat

Thanks in advance,

Phil

Re: 96 Taurus - Coolant flow direction

In every freakin car I ever owned, from NEAR thermostat to heater to water
pump
Note that flow is not regulated by Tstat

Note that for efficient heater operation, it's important for the source hose
to connect to the BOTTOM of the core in order to purge air.
