Is the electric cooling fan running?
Radiator not plugged up?
New radiator cap?
Just because there is no water in the oil does not mean you don't
have a leaking gasket. Which motor? any symptoms that lead up to this?
If thats all ok, your going to need to get a coolant pressure test and a
test for combustion gas in the coolant.

When the engine is turned off, coolant flow stops and residual
heat in the head heats up the coolant some more. The coolant
expands when heated, forcing some into the external reservoir.
If the coolant comes boiling into the reservoir, the head is hotter
than it should be. This may be the result of lean burning, caused
by insufficient fuel pressure, a leaky intake manifold, a stuck IAC
actuator or an inoperative EGR valve.
