We are obviously part of the most downtrodden segment of society in the free
world.... the white, male , Protestant/Catholic, middle aged, wage earning,
employed, heterosexual, married, tax paying with 2.3 children scum bag...
Single handedly and together, we are the sole cause for racial strife, gay
bashing, battered women, unwanted pregnancy, the national debt,
non-productivity, health care costs, lack of community, ghettos, high gas
prices, acne, psoriasis, violence in entertainment and the 1958 Edsel.... It
is on our shoulders that the weight of the world should rest... it is from
our labours that the rest of the world can enjoy life and procreate and
watch "As The Stomach Turns"... all the while bemoaning the fact that their
sorry existence is too hard a burden and we should make more allowances for
their individuality....
Years ago I considered a lateral to the California Highway Patrol. I
had a number of friends who were CHP, and the pay was better.
Figuring I might have a better shot with one of my connections... I
approached him about the move. His response about floored me....
He said, 'Dave, they have a hiring freeze in place, and the only way
you'll get hired is to be a black oriental female with a Spanish
surname. You must be gay or at least bisexual, and it helps to be an
immigrant, or at least be a first generation American.'
