the plastic v-8 intake manifolds. They will pay owners about a third of

That site also has info on the cruise control switch recall that affects 93
Crown Vics. My question, I have a 93 CV that my brother bought new, I've
asked , and he never gat a recall notice. How can I get this this recall
performed on my Crown Vic?

The listing of cracked manifolds doesn't include my 1996 Mustang GT.
When it cracked, the radiator shop told me that they had replaced several
recently, and I thought that might make it eligible for a TSB.
My selling dealer found it for me, but the dealer in the city where I
happened to be said that there was no TSB covering my vehicle. I had to
give him the TSB number before they would do the $960 job for free.

Then they wanted to charge me for the missing serpentine belt. I refused,
saying there was certainly a belt there before the manifold cracked, that
it must have popped off. I offered to pay for the belt, but refused to pay
the flat rate labor, since the car was already being worked on. It got
down to an ultimatum. I told them to push the car out into the street, and
I would put my own belt on, that I was going to buy at Kragen.

Something to note, one of the cruise control switches they talk about was in
my 1993 SHO. It burned out most of the wiring, I guess I got lucky though.
It blew out the fuses. I ended up taking the car to a car electrical shop
just to get it repaired. 450$ later, they had replaced a lot of the wires. I
kept smelling burning but could not place it. I later had a problem with the
brakes fluid leaking and the switch was replaced. That's when we discovered
the condition of the switch and realize this must be what cause the problem
to start with. Now I have good electronics, but alas the cruise control is
fried, and my radio acts funny. I guess I'll have to replace it soon to.
This really sucks because I love driving my SHO.
