Hey, Jim...
You just re-re-re-cross-posted his crooked-ass scheme.
I am entertained by the promoter's intimate knowledge of political
geography. Somewhere in the 'Programme Requirements' and FAQs there is a
definition of the United Kingdom which includes Ireland. I agree with that.
Partition in 1922 as a silly idea. Let's reunite Ireland under the British
flag...:-)))
(But I'd love to know how the government and people of the Republic of
Ireland might feel about that....)

Bah, we'll worry about that AFTER the insurgency develops.
That's the British approach isn't it? It's worked well for their
handling of the indigenous peoples in America, Canada, Australia, and
New Zealand
There was an insurgency in Canada? In AU? In NZ? And the one in the US
was hardly one by the oppressed natives.
If I am not mistaken our dear Queen still graces the coinage of the three
countries that are in the Commonwealth. The mint in AU is still "Royal"...
Or are you saying that there hasn't been an insurgency yet? In that case,
US should be different.

My response was initially more in regard to Bloody Sunday in Northern
Ireland and ensuing Irish "visitors". But, with regards to the other
countries:
Kahnawake etc, in Canada
Palm Island Riots etc, in Australia
NZ hasn't had much recently but they have had:
Wairau Affray, Flagstaff War, Hutt Valley Campaign, events at Bastion
Point in the 1970's etc, etc., NZ does tend to take things to court
and lose.
As for the "dear Queen" being on the currency? Understandable as the
three listed have yet to gain their psychological independence. (I say
that speaking as a Canadian).
The US is as you say, different
This being my biased opinion.
What did you make of "Who's Britain is it anyway" on BBC2 last night?
Very British conclusion to the show I must say.
And Northern Ireland is hardly comparable, or are you also in the camp that
thinks Noraid raises money to help all those brave Irish freedom fighters
who are working to rid their land of the awful British oppressor?
