Idle Issue - 93 Ford escort

Hello, I have a 93 for escort, when I start the car cold then idle is fine,
but if the motor is warm, then the car starts rpm goes to 1000 like normal
and then drops down to below 100 and sometimes stalls, then goes back to
normal.

Also lately it started getting worce were idle while on park goes up and
down constantly but not always. If I have the car in drive then it's fine.

I had post on here in the past and was told it may be the throttle body
that needed cleaning, I tried this and it did not fix the problem.

Any help would be good!

Thanks
Michel Belanger

IAC valve, sometimes called ISC valve, is worn.

There are a couple of valves and sensors that can cause idle
problems. It's also not uncommon for the intake manifold
gasket to get leaky.

Re: Idle Issue - 93 Ford escort

Have you cleaned the MAF sensor?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? (including all devices that use
vacuum)
