when comparing assholes to holes in the ground, hurc can not tell the
difference. and when told be an automotive electrical rebuilder that your
alternator diodes are bad, it don't make any difference if the diode is
shorted out, open, or burned out. the thing is that it is bad no matter how
you say it, and needs to be fixed.
