The rear door window will go down fine. When you try to put it up the
motor is running but will not move window. There is a cable that runs
from the motor to the top of the regulator, then down and to the bottom of
the motor. When you try to run the window up the top of the the cable just
pulsates up and down.

This is a common problem with Explorers, at least of that vintage.
Go to the link below and you will find a lot of information that will
discuss the window motor failure and lots of other maintenance procedures on
91, 92, etc.
