HELP! Taking off fly wheel on a 1996 Ford Explorer...please explain how to do so!

I need help with the bolts on a fly wheel. I need figure out how many
bolts to take off the transmission. If you could direct me to a wwebsite
with diagrams that are free to view that would be great!

Hey Chinese

Try this http://www.autozone.com/home.htm

Once you create your profile (and register), you can go into their Repair
Guides for your specific vehicle.

The pics and instructions are pretty good...AND FREE!

The nuts on the flywheel bolts can be accessed by removing the starter.
There are 4 bolts.
