overdrive light flashes and car won't switch into last gear happens
intermittantly-seems more so when car is warm . sometimes no problem. no
other problems with trans no slipping when down shifting etc.

far north

exact same thing happened to me 2 months ago. it was and electrical
connection on the transmission. it came loose and/ or deteriated a litte
after 200k. guy put it on the hoist and found it in less than twenty
minutes. minimum charge. nice break for a change.

I had this problem, blinks on occassion (never stays on
constantly)....I also had some shifting problems that seemed
different/strange. It eventually (within a couple of weeks) turned
into a fully failed transmission, eventhough I’ve always kept up my
fluid changes at the dealership and such and never abused it -
although mine is a ’97 and has about 150k miles on it. But I did have
that blinking OD situation that one time.
