The rear hatch door won't unlock with the remote or manually with the
key. Has anybody experienced this before ??

The dealer wants over $100 up front just to diagnose the problem, and
then who knows how much to fix it, while I pay for their learning curve.

had you considered taking it to a locksmith to have them check the lock/key
to see if it's working properly as far as the key is concerned?
