04 stang dual exh

Can you put dual exhausts (safely) on an 04 mustang 6 cylinder? No one
wants to do it for me.

First, you should ask why they refused...do they think you want to
mess with the cats?

There are plenty of cat-back kits.
Another route is a new h-pipe and GT takeoffs. Here's one from MPS
that includes a bumper cover (with the exhaust cutouts):

Be prepard to spend $100-200 for a competent shop to install the
pipes.

A quick search found this dual exhaust install:

I'm a 50 year old woman, jackass, I bought what I wanted. I asked a civil
question, I THOUGHT you people would give me a civil answer. Thanks for
nothing, **** head.

Re: 04 stang dual exh

LMAO. Pamela... ignore the douche bag. But really... there isn't much point
of a dual exhaust on a V6 Mustang. Not to be rude, but you won't see any
power gains that you'll feel. And it's expensive! Why not put the $$ towards
a nice evening out or towards another mod (like gears?? you'll feel those
haha :D)? Just my .02 cents. Regardless of which path you choose.. it's a
Mustang.. Have fun =).

Re: 04 stang dual exh

Don't pay attention, we have some immature assclowns around - but it's
better than when we had Troy the Troll and The White Tornado here.

As for the dual exhaust system on a V-6 - absolutely. Any late model
Mustang Mag is chock full of companies that sell dual systems for V-6's,
and you can get a duals system from Summit Racing catalogs.

You will have to check your local emission ordinances to see what will be
street legal for your car- some areas are a lot stricter than others.

I disagree. I put duals on my V-6 and I can feel (and hear) the
difference. Better passing...better highway on-ramp. The car seems
to rev easier and the MPG went up 1-2 MPG.

It was not meant to be a high performance car...but it's running
better than it did before.
