predicted a second faster with a six speed. Only one second with
400hp?
Explain then please how Cadillac can run a 0-60 in 4.6 seconds with
their 400hp CTS?? Apparently, "some" 400hp engines are more
"horsepowery" than others.

Well, the Caddy is grotesquely ugly. Maybe that helps it go fast 'cause
it's about 125 lbs heavier in curb weight so you'd think the GTO would
edge it out. The stock GTO's running up here in the nose bleed are
hitting times that correct to around the high 13's which is pretty
good.

On the street I can't really tell. Not too many of either car around
here and none with any serious mods yet so I'm at the same weight but
around 240 bhp up on them. I've run one CTS-V and, well, it was clearly
stock :). I've not met any GTO's yet.

Now, on the race track, the GTO's just took the GT class in Rolex last
weekend. Those are race prepped chassis and they beat out Porsche GT3
cup cars and BMW M3's (running 420 bhp at 2600 lbs). The TRG GTO had to
detune the LS2 to meet the Grand Am specs. So the car has some serious
potential in it. It will take time to see if that shows up on the
streets.
