I just bought a new AC compressor for my 1994 musgant cobra 5.0. I wanted
to know if someone out there is kind enough to guide me step by step as to
what do I have to do to install it, if not, if you know of any shop that
might install it in the area of Winter Haven, Florida, & Kissimmee, FL.

FIRST it depends on the REASON you'replacing it..

If the compressor failed, the system needs to be flushed and Accumulator
replaced (not a bad idea, in any case) as well as replacing the orifice.

My brother had the misfortune of having his A/C fail while on vacation in
fla and the shop claimed "the condenser had plugged up"... which is
unmitigated Bullshit, The orifice will plug LONG before the condenser
does... but there's nowhere near the markup on that.

Too bad there's no "Angies List" in your area... might check with your
local newspaper to see if there's an equivalent.. many papers have yearly
consumer rating features.
