When you open the center console lid on my 04GT there are two plastic
finger-like things under the lid. For what would these be?

Even my aftermarket has a clear plastic sheet which would seem to have
no other purpose than to hold docs... and it's located on the bottom
side of the lid.

I suppose you could also use it for keeping all those parking and
speeding tickets in proper sequence.... : ) LOL
