That's a laugh. Despite handing out "workfare" government jobs, much
of Europe is suffering from above 10 percent unemployment.
Their social welfare systems have hit the wall. In many places,
there is barely one person working to support another who's
unemployed, or on full retirement.
If you measure "quality of life" in terms of handouts, then perhaps
you're right, but the end of that in Europe is soon at hand.

We're also very rich in shale oil. Millions of acres of it in
Colorado, Wyoming and Utah.
Still a bit expensive to process, but the methods are getting much
more economical.
We also get a lot of sun - much more than Canada. ;-)

The Russians need our technology to locate, drill and pump their oil
out of the ground in the severe weather conditions of Siberia.
Ninety percent of Canaduh's population lives within 10 miles of the US
Border and most of them work for US owned companies.
China does not manufacture much of anything. What they really do is
assemble products that are shipped to them and then ship back the
finished product. This is possible because they are willing to do
the scut work for next to nothing.
What we do is research and develop the next generation of high
technology and then ship it out to the lesser breeds where eventually
it filters down to junk yard niggers to scrounge thru for scraps.
