Looking for assistance on 83 5.0

I have a 83 5.0 that I took in to store. The owner has abandoned it
so now it is mine. It is a extremly clean GLX convertible car with
only 43000 original miles.
Problem: It was burned under the hood and needs a wiring harness
from the fuse box forward. The owner bought it back from the
insurance company with the plans of fixing it but with his education
being in accounting he really had no business attempting it. His
decision to cut the harness off at the firewall tells the story.
I am open to suggestions, leads, even someone who has one for parts.
The salvage yards in my area are prone to just ripping out motors
that are worth keeping making the harness pretty useless.

Ping 'mustangguy' in this newsgroup or send email to him at
mustangguy@aol.com. Tim wrecks lots of mustangs for parts, and seems to
know *LOTS* about year-to-year specifics.
