An alternative to posting photos in a binaries NG (which some cannot
access) is a web-based photo hosting site. I use www.mustangmods.com.
Storage space on mustangmods.com is limited, but it's free. A
web-based host gives you URLS that you can use in web-based forums, or
to post links to a newsgroup (like this:
http://www.mustangmods.com/data/9461/resized_2.jpg )

Just a thought.

Me too. AFAIK, they are original Minilites from the late 60's early '70's.
Probably worth ~$2000. Picked'em up at a swap meet for $300 and restored
them.

Re: Pics of my '69 up

Hi Scott, I like your car. What color is that? I'm not too crazy about the
braded lines, though, just my opinion. Also you should toss that clear glass
filter. They look purdy but in a mild accident they could break and you
wouldn't be too happy with the results of that. Pick up a standard metal
filter from your LPS. You can get one with 3/8" inlet and outlet if that's
what your using.

Check out my website, the story is pretty much all there. The color is from
the Audi chip book, "Nogaro Blue".
The braided lines were kind of an afterthought. I had to run braided fuel
line to race here at Bandimere. The rest was just for the hell of it since
the kit was cheap. I've had a few problems with leaking now since the braid
doesn't allow for any expansion hardly at all in the line. The coolant has
to go somewhere, so it squeezes out the end. Which could then disqualify me
for safety reasons at the track. I thought I'd give it a shot. The glass
filter was the only replaceable filter I could find at the time I was
buying, and the chrome ones are just plain ugly. I think I'll buy the
threaded adapter for the Edelbrock fuel line drop. I can then run a Russell
or whatever directly into the carb. No splicing.
