66 6F HCS

Checkout the link below to see the two different sets of wheels I've had on
my car. Lemme know which set you guys (and Kate) think look best. Nevermind
the tires as they're going away next spring, probably for either a set of
Firestone Indy's or Bridgestone Potenza G009's.

The top is a set of Centerline Convo Pro's and the bottom is a Western
Wheels copy of the Minilite Sport.

I greatly prefer the bottom set... but then I always thought studded wheels
looked stupid, and "Always" is... what, now... 30 years?.

Top. The bottom ones look like something, I just can't place them.
Seems like Chevy had some rims on something that looked a lot like
those. But then as long as you leave one pair on each side, no one will
ever notice...

The convo wheels look good when clean, but only then. The bottom ones
look like they push the rear tire outside the fender (do they?) and
I've never been a fan of that.

I wonder how the car would look with a set of '03 Mach 1 wheels?

Nah, the tires in the rear are gone on the pic with minilites. They were
295/50's and were outside the wheelwell. Just too damn wide, but they were
free so I tried'em out. LOTSA grip, but rubbed like a muthaf-cka over any
crack in the road.

the top the best.

I had the thought of the 16" "Eleanor" style wheels on the new V6's. Or the
Edelbrock 454 wheel.

They're just a bit expensive. The two sets I have were fairly cheap. The
Centerlines came with the car and the 8 spoke Minilites were only $350
(used) with brand new tires already mounted.
