i have a 87 mustang it had a 5 speed in it but i am putting in a
automatic in it where can i get a floor shifter at that dont have
overdrive on it

You might take a run past Jegs or Summit catalogs where you will find
alternatives to stock. One even looks like a stick shift. Also you
might try Lokar.

Almost any speed shop. There are lots of aftermarket shifters that should work
for you.
