Good afternoon all,

I have a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500, with a non-original 427 sideoiler block
from 1972. The car currently uses a 3-row radiator, and a belt-driven
6-blade, 18", flex fan. The car does NOT have A/C.

I'm experiencing some overheating problems, and one possible solution
suggested to me could be to change to an original non-flex fan. Can
anyone tell me the correct fan blade/style/size/part# for the '63
Galaxie 427's? Also, does anyone know where I can find one???

My second question is related to the fan belt drive. Currently the
flex fan is belt-driven. Can I change the flex fan to a solid blade
fan, and still keep the belt-drive system, or do I need to also remove
the belt-drive and install a fan clutch with it? What type of impact
to performance could I experience in doing either?
