Good News! Grim Reaper At Work!

Those who remember all the trouble I had with the old farts behind
me a couple years back should appreciate this.

A quick recap: 80-something couple were real nice neighbors until
they decided to sell their place. The real estate agent convinced them
that nobody would buy their house for their absurd asking price because
they could see the cars I had in *my* back yard. So, the assholes
complained to the city and I had to move them elsewhere. They failed to
sell their house in the ensuing three years. Last year they rented it
out to a guy named Andy while they stayed up north in their regular
residence, and put it up for sale once again a couple months ago.

Today, Andy told me that the old woman called him to inform him the
house had been sold, and that he would have to move by escrow closing,
scheduled April 26th. But it gets better. Turns out the old man is
literally on his deathbed, losing the battle with the big C combined
with heart problems. He is expected to die at any time. In addition,
his obese wife is having health problems and *her* condition is rapidly
failing.

So, my buddy Grim is going to provide me with the last laugh. After
such long lives, they are going to croak being hated by myself and the
other neighbors around here, and god only knows who else up where they
are now. What a way to go. The moral here: live and let live.

The other good part is the woman and her son that are moving in. I
had a chance the other day to talk with them for about a half hour.
They are from San Jose, Cal, and dig classic cars and motorcycles. She
is eager to tie in the theme I'm doing on the side fence into our
common boundary, staggering some queen palms for that tropical effect.
I advised her to make a lower offer on the house, and she got it 15
thou cheaper. Kool beanz.

With the rear house (this is a 3-in-a-row flag lot) bought 4 months
ago by a hip 60-something woman from San Francisco, this newest deal
eliminates the last people that can complain about anything around
here. I'm jazzed.

Oh, I don't know. With the way you've been acting since the Shelby
thread, I think the group would probably celebrate more if I killed you
myself.

You forgot you're also the biggest bullshiter. But I guess that goes
without saying after:

1) Not being able to produce any time slips.
2) Can't even recall his old dragstrip numbers.
3) Owns a digital camera, but can't produce a pic of his *claimed*
"nearly a ton" of old auto mags.
4) Let alone quote any info from any of those mags.
5) And doesn't post pics of any of his *claimed* 20-plus classics.

Yep, quite the bullshiter... a bullshiter with a monster reference
manual that he derives all his auto 60's "knowledge" from.

Is that what you want to be known for/as?

"Truth"... *you* can't handle the truth! Or you would have fest up to
your lies long ago.

made of:

Yes, he has. And so have you. We have a straight shooter. And we
have a bullshitter. And the straight shooter isn't you, Rick.

I wouldn't say that.

And you remember us as the guys who tried to get you to tell the truth.

And you could still do it. If you came clean about everything, and the
truth was you owned a bunch of ratty old cars, I would respect you
completely because you're honest! But I can't respect a
bullshitter/liar.

Not even Wacko is stupid enough to think I get all my info out of
books.

Providing, of course, that I had actually lied about anything.

Ooh, that was clever. Process of elimination.

Aligning yourself with Wacko is expected, Patricia. It shows us
where your head is at.

This is Usenet; there are no prerequisites for posting. I mean, they
let *you* in here.

I already admitted to *all* of Wacko's "charges" <snicker>. The
first thing he did was claim victory for eradicating me (an impossible
feat, I assure you), then went on harping about it despite criticism
from others. And you wonder why I don't deem you worthy of a straight
history from me? No matter what I'd say, It would be a lie. You
guaranteed a no-win from the start.

Besides, it's way more fun watching you two dance.

Oop's pulled the trigger on that one accidentally.

Well after some thought. I've decided to delete the post I was about to
send. I said what I said. I will neither recant it, amend it, nor feel the
need to explain it. If you chose to create some impression of me, judge or
ridicule me based upon it so be it you have every right.
You do seem to be on some sort of crusade against Rick. Whether I "support
him" or not, don't for one minute think you'll use some "moral relativism"
bumf to shame me and use me as some pawn to further your own goals (
whatever they may be ???? ).
Morality IS relative. It is a notion created by man and thus regulated by
usage just like a language. I don't feel I'm immoral but generally the way
most people act these days in our society I certainly feel more amoral every
day. If you feel some concern about where our world is going and this is how
you feel you want to express it, then fine. Personally, I think mankind is
an aberration on this planet. We'll have our time in the sun and disappear
like the big lizards. History teaches but one thing... it will be repeated.

No reference manual, just an Internet connection. Very easy nowadays
to be a master bullshitter when one has access to the Internet.

This coming from the gentleman lacking whatever dubious credibility one

Are you seriously trying to imply that "A "28" broken in half is a "2."" is
a metaphor?

The impression it leaves is always one of dishonesty. I understand the
principle behind it, but I wouldn't worry too much about Google
surreptitiously making money off of your posts.

My message was clear. You are automatically presumed to be dishonest by
selecting not to have your posts archived. This is classic troll
behavior. But, apparently it's just an issue of pride and ego. You
must righteously deny evil Google from reaping unauthorized benefits by
having your gem-like posts in their clutches. Gotcha.

Apparently only to you. In all my years on the net I have never seen
any one question the honesty of someone not desiring to have their
posts archived. It is a strange bird indeed who most constantly rely
on archived posts to make an out of context point. I suspect you walk
around with a tape recorder recording every conversation you've ever
had for prosperity.

Most often those to call the honesty of a person in to question are
those of dubious honesty in the first place. They think since that is
why they would do it, others would as well.

Among your other faults is a most dubious lack of logic.

The answers become clearer to everyone with every side-stepping post
you make. Fix your image problem now, Rick. Post some links.

This is true; there are some good honest people in here. There are
also some bullshitters. Which one are you, Rick? Post some links.

Don't laugh. This isn't a game. People like to know who they're
dealing with. And it's now apparent that you lead people on. You try
to make people think you're something you're not... that you own things
that you don't. You have become what you have always *said* you
dispised, only worse.

You're a mutated Troy the Troll/White Tornado. I say worse because at
least they owned the things they said they owned, and did the things
they said they did. I could at least respect them for that. You on
the other hand, seem to just make it up as you go.

Whatever, Rick. Play your stupid games. Let me know when it's over,
and if you ever decide to come clean.

I don't have an image problem. I'm not an ego case like you.

Oh my goodness gracious I've been called a liar in Usenet, where
everyone tells the truth, by a holier-thatn-thou with a
steroid-enlarged neck.

I have. Links to dyno threads are among my most recent. Don't you
pay attention?

The hell you say. I've never seen more games than in Usenet.

It's like this, Patty. I expect people to either pay attention to
what I say about on-topic stuff, or *not* pay attention. It's up to
them. I don't tell them what to do or say or think. Unlike you, mein
herr.

Well, guess what, Patty? I came into RAMFM years ago as CobraJet
with all the intentions of playing it straight. After all, I was a
newbie with tons of info I could pass along (it's all there in the
Google). What happened? For starters, dipshit Anthony thought I was
somebody else from before, and began trying to prove it. Then I got
caught in a huge game in the middle of several of the regulars, who
obviously got convinced I really was someone else from before.
Bewildered and confused, I reached out twice in email to dwight, as he
seemed to be a reasonable person. Silence from him. Asshole.

And so I dug down, weathered the storm, and created the new and
improved CobraJet. You and the other game-playing assholes created me,
Patty. So enjoy the creation and shut up.

You and Wacko have, much like in the beginning, convinced yourself
that I'm lying about anything, because you don't like to think anyone
else has more ammunition than you. It's pathetic. You fail to see what
most other people do. So wallow in your haze, and go look in the mirror
to see why God didn't give you the throne when he died.

The Mighty CobraJet

P.S. As I think about it, every car I own has been posted in my
webspace except the van and the '86 Cougar. I guess if you had been
paying more attention, you wouldn't have missed them. Shame.
