Help me verify a FE big block

I picked up a Ford big block from a guy who did'nt know what he
had. After weeks of digging and web surfing i still cannot verify 100%
on what i have i think its a 427 FE built in 68.On the block the only
#'s are 55246/52dif and 352-46 On the heads the casting #'s are
C8AEH and the water pump casting #'s are C8AE 8505-A . The bottom of
the block is flat and the intake manifold goes under the vavle covers
it has a alum. holley street dominator intake with a holley carb and
the goose neck is on the intake pointing up.The head #'s match a 427
and i know it is a FE but i cannot verify the block #'s anywhere. Can
anyone help me so i can begin to rebuild it.Thanks John

I think Bill Beyer sent you the link.

If it's a top oiler you can sell it for thousands of $$$. If it's a
sideoiler, you better let me haul it away for you before you have to
pay to get rid of it! LOL

Your right sorry Bill and thank you for the site. And yes it is a top
oiler with hyd. lifters. I have a guy trying to buy it for 3,800.00 but
i think its worth more what should i ask for it? I'ts a complete motor.
