following its rebuild. Is a dyno test article on the maybe shelf?

Well, I might as well announce it now, I just found out today that the week
of January 23rd, Trouble will have an engine-ectomy and we'll be pulling
that cantankerous 390 so it can go to Jim Grubb's in LA. I just got a great
deal on an engine hoist and stand and we'll be ready to go to work. Yes, a
full dyno test is included in the engine rebuild and I will be in LA to see
it live. Don't know when, probably around March, I guess.
Before we yank the 390, Trouble is going down to the shop by my office where
a Randall's Rack rack and pinion system will be installed, hopefully with
some new Global West suspension stuff to spiff it up.
So, basically, my Christmas happens in January. Then look for the articles
in MM or M&F mid-summer at the earliest. But, I'll report on dyno results
here first. After all, we have a vested interest in what that 390 can do
when built right. Right?

I stood where the best light was. That's the wife's bookshelf. My
testosterone-soaked brain didn't notice the bear until you pointed it out.
This is my bookshelf. Only thing I did (aside from add those two
bottles last night) was turn the plaque around so you could see it.
That red thing on the second shelf is a stray shop rag, over the car mags.
