Here is some good New Year's fun we had out in the sticks

http://tinyurl.com/8ydxd
http://tinyurl.com/bbqqp

The short-barrel is mine. Quite violent, convertable stock, BOOM.

http://tinyurl.com/7g57x

This last one is not a picture of my wife =)

But this is, when we got "Sammy" (only 1/7 red tabbies is female), who
is now a rotund 15 lbs. Aww, ain't they cute? Heather doesn't like
this pic of her at all, but you get the idea ;^)

http://tinyurl.com/7jbhd

Alright now, all you freaks, you know QUITE DAMNED ENOUGH about me now.
I'm going to yank ALL the pics soon. So, merry New Year, and all that
shit. It's time for another Bass Ale. We're gonna get in the hot tub
and chill with some beers.

Cheers

Re: OFF-TOPIC NEW YEAR'S THREAD

I do not know what the physical dimensions are but it is only 136 ci
whereas at the end FORD was 239 ci and Mercury was 255. You can see from
this chart that Compression ratio never was very high in these engines.

If I could scan straight would be a good start. This is from the 2005
Performance Parts.
http://users.erols.com/srweiss/cobrapad.jpg
I am not looking to race just improve street use. Also Pep Boys web site
says they sell Hawk Pads and the store is only 1 1/2 miles from the
house.

I guess you saw "Recommended for race use only"...

From the Hawk web site:
Warning! Due to the dramatic friction levels produced by
this product to achieve "race-level" braking, rotor wear,
noise, dust, and pad life may be affected.

I think you want the HPS, not HP Plus.

Old No. 8 (8 years old) is 80 proof and No. 12 is 90 proof.

Well, well, well...

Look who slithered back onto usenet. It's about goddam time you stuck your
ugly mug back into this group. We've got guys who take their pictures with
pink stuffed animals in the background trying to keep this collection of
misfits alive. I sprayed my monitor with perfectly good beer when I saw it.
Fortunately it wasn't AB, that would've been a waste.

Now where the hell is Tom? He hasn't graced us with his presence around here
for quite awhile either...

Oh yeah...

Happy Friggin' New Year

Unfortunately, I had to witness that, too. Today's youth. Whatcha
gonna do? (On a related note, and this is dead serious, but I read a
study done in the 80's that found that men had more trouble with
impotence trying to have sex in pink rooms than in any other color.
Liike that was a big surprise.)

Key word - "trying". Yeah, my sad ass, with the least on-topic
knowledge and experience, breaking the rules I myself pay to host with
my insane rants (sorry all) has got the defib paddles on this little
group. My time and effort, for free, for you guys, and I hope some new
guys ("guys" is not gender-specific, Dr. L. =).

It's not like -I'm- so well liked and respected around here, either. I
feel like I'm mostly tolerated, and begrudgingly accepted. I just feel
this group is worth trying to save. This weekend, I'm going to fix the
broken links. And I do want to design a really smoking website, and
have entertained justifying the purchase of a good web-development tool
to do so. I have to write how much money we have on the white board at
the end of every single day. My life is good, but I also am totally
freaking broke and tired.

But hey, genuine contempt is at least genuine. I hate fake people with
hidden agendas. I'd take an honest slap in the face over a fake smile
any day. Just give me a smidgen of respect, because you have at least
that much of mine.

Now that's a good question. I have hissed numerous times, wanting to
know what's going on with that wicked '58 of his.

My young friend you have considerably more than a "smidgeon" of my respect.
Your efforts to revive this group have been nothing short of herculean
altho' I fear this beast is on it's last trip down the electronic highway.
The bastard's smokin' like a locomotive, the valves are rattling and the
bottom end's knockin' like a son of a bitch. It's not just this group but
all of usenet that seems to be is serious decline. Even spammers, the lowest
life forms in cyberspace have all but abandoned this form of communication
to focus their time & energy spamming webside forums and depositing every
scam known to man in your mailbox.

My commentary on the background of your picture was simply a matter of being
too good to pass up attached as it was to your announcement that you were
worthy to drink AB ale. I got a healthy chuckle out of the whole situation
and even if it was at your expense you handled it with class.

So, since I just happen to be holding a glass of gen-you-wine 101 proof
Austin Nichol's Wild Turkey in my grubby mitt right this very
second...here's to you and the job you've done...and remember...don't
fornicate in a pink room.

Thanks Bill. I spelt badly, but I sincerely appreciate your fairly
surprising response.

I may well be in denial about the group. But I feel I should try. I am
compelled.

I may just be the last bastard in here one day, wondering to myself what
the hell is quench all about, and what implications does it have. Then,
I'll rant about something, flame myself for breaking the rules, end up
in an endlessly escalating cycle, and be found dead on my keyboard with
blood dripping from my nose.

People say the writing has been on the wall for a while. Your
observation about the slimy profit motive of spammers is indeed telling.

Very well then. Yeah, it was pretty damned funny, the juxtaposition of
it all. I probably wouldn't have left it be, either. I sort of thought
as much, but I thought I may have just irked you at some point, and you
just decided I was an ass. Like I said, in that case, glad to hear it
out in the open. But I'm glad this is not actually the case.
