Aargh! I'm gonna try to get this manual drum thing sorted out, but I
have disc systems from other Fords I can swap over if I want.

I loved the disco scene, as an avid 70's clubber. I skipped the
whole punk shit. No rhythm, man. The whole "Disco Sucks" movement was
started by dorks with two left feet. The local oldies station has
started Saturday night Disco parties, and it's picking up steam. I hope
to see it return so people can remember what "upbeat" meant.

Radio Caroline played the same recording. Radio Caroline was a pirate
station on a ship in the North Sea. A friend from Liverpool told me that
the ship finally burned under suspicious circumstances. He said it was
believed the government had something to do with it. Yeah, like that has
ever happened anywhere. ;0).

Yeah, I remember some of the first videos from there. George Harrison comes
to mind.

I remember this show also. I remember some cute blond was one of the hosts.

I always liked that version better than the NorthaAmerican Album version as
the UK one was way rougher complete with all the string squeaks. I had the
45 but alas dropped it one day and cracked it ;^(

Remember it well. I heard it on Nigel a few days ago starngely enough. The
other song he had was " Wake up and Make Love to me" Which was pretty
suggestive at the time, especially when I was a hyper-hormoned teen. Almost
sounds like a hymn nowadays!
