This is basically what my brother wants, if he does make it in the movie
biz.... an underground, off-grid fortress in Nevada, with a long stretch
of area he can see all around him, and "a camo Prius and a Gen 1 Humvee
running on veg oil" tucked below. A primo firing range would be
included. Some might call that paranoid and strange. I call it smart!

Sorta reminds me of the movie "Tremors" ......the couple with aall the
munitions, shooting range in the basement, and all that...
The worst thing, for me, about those missile sites is that they are
pretty much all in God Forsaken middle of nowhere places...

One place I lived, the Air Force closed down a radar site, and it was
taken over as a Federal prison for minimum custody types. They had
housing, swimming pool, etc on top of a high hill out in the desert.
The first day they opened they had their first escape... guy walked
down the road to the highway and stuck out his thumb... LOL

Quite a number of old abandoned military facilities like that just
sitting around doing nothing. Tempting.
