OT: "North Country"

Starring Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, and Frances McDormand. And,
in his Hollywood debut, my big brother as the dude to the right of the
CEO, in the tan suit.

He's not an extra. I don't know what they call it, featured actor
maybe. No lines, but significant exposure. I'm very proud of big
brother. He couldn't tell me anything until the trailer was released.
I knew he was in a scene with the star of some film, but wasn't aware it
was one of the pivotal scenes of a ****ing-A Hollywood feature film with
Charlize Theron. He'll have about 60-90 seconds in the movie. It was
his first foray into acting, ever. Open call in Albuquerque, what the
hell, right?

He is not in the TV trailer, just the theatrical trailer, if you happen
to see it. I'm tickled shitless for him and had to brag a little.

Cool!

Ms. Theron is in TO this week for the film festival. My co worker Heather is
a big film buff and saw a premiere and saw her and Toni Collette there. Toni
Collette was blonde....oh Lord give me strength....StuK

Thanks. I just have a feeling once he gets in front of more people, he
will impress them, and in a few years I'll see my elder likeness acting
weird on the red carpet. He is a misunderstood bohemian genius, and I
think Hollyweird might be just the place for him to make his fortune.

Mmm, yummy to both. Very synchronistic, too, I think.

I watched The Devil's Advocate again about 6 mo. ago, and forgot about
Ms. Theron's delicious nude scene. Wowee. Brendan was very taken with
her, and had to check his gaze during filming. Said she was nice, not a
diva type.

She had an "interesting" upbringing in South Africa. I believe her mother
shot and killed her father protecting her and siblings from his drunken
murderous tirade one night. She was acquitted of charges as it was deemed
self defense. This she said helped her in her role in Monster. She strikes
me as very straightforward. Toni Collete most certainly is.

I'll be looking for him.

That sounds vaguely familiar. Maybe Heather mentioned it. I am not sure.

It's when she goes to confront and meets with the Board in the city
We look very much alike, he's just taller
