OT: Plans for the 4th

Got a good ole American Holiday just around the corner. What better way to
celebrate independence than by blowing stuff up. Nothing says freedom like
obnoxious noises, lbright flashes and the smell of burnt powder.
Any how was wondering what some of you might be up to for the extended
weekend?
Myself, I'm driving up to Denver with the old lady to attended a wedding.
Buddy got me to be a part of the wedding party so I need to slip on a Real
monkey suit and play nice for a few hours. Nothing quite like being dressed
to the nines and getting smashed afterwards. Going to take the long way up
and travel Monument Valley and go by Moab for the scenery. Will be heading
up thursday and coming home monday. Will be nice to have another road trip.
What are the rest of you up to?

As it stands right now, working Saturday and Sunday. I will then sleep most
of the day on Monday to get ready to go back to work on 3rd shift Monday
night. Exciting stuff, huh.

Our holiday is the first - I'm putting a new 6.5 diesel motor in my 94 gmc.
And drinking a lot of beer!:)

We're going to my father-in-law's place out in the sticks. We boys will be
putting two bags containing about 4000 bottle rockets in a stacked bonfire,
situated several feet beneath about 1/2 gallon of gas. Between those items
will be a few candles. I will be 50 yards away with a .22 rifle. Bombs
away!

That's the opening salvo. We'll see what everyone else brings.
