Sorry to drum up old issues (hehe) but could this possibly be a marine
or service block? Any way to definitely tell?

And the (Mercruiser) Marine block numbers are????

A coworker said that he suspects it's either a marine or service block.
He stated that some blocks of that type were 'finned' and that certain
machining took place. He pointed out the following pics to me on my
site. Any thoughts??? Any online documentation on marine/service
