It amazes me that Ford's big gun engine, the 427 FE, was such a brutal power
plant and it was never popular. Ford made all kinds of great parts for it.
It performed well. And even in the late 60's they were scarce. I saw two FE
powered cars at the Division 7 ET finals a few weeks ago. Must have been 500
cars there, and they were the only two I found.
