I'm curious. What's the Ph.D. in, and what was your thesis on?

The degree is in Anthropology from the University of Arizona. I'm an
archaeologist and my dissertation was on the Tucson Basin Hohokam and the
interaction of environmental change and settlement pattern change over time.

Should have mentioned that I also did a term paper and oral presentation on
the Ford Mustang in a technology class during my program. Now that was fun!

Re: ThunderSnakes - Committee thread

I did one for a marketing seminar - "Brand Equity and the Ford Mustang"
(or something like that), in b-school. I spent hours and hours on the
PowerPoint presentation alone. So many pics to choose from!

Re: ThunderSnakes - Committee thread

A scholar and a gearhead! Seem to be quite a few around here,
actually.

One of the coolest places I've ever visited was Bandolier. Mom lived
in Santa Fe for 8 years, and moved to Tucson earlier this year. Seen a
green '50 Plymouth Special Deluxe putting around? =)

The history of the Anasazi is fascinating. I was out of breath the
whole time we hiked, but man that was cool.

OK you're OFF TOPIC! BAD Wound Up!
