Cheers! I'm enjoying a Newcastle Brown as I type. It's a beautiful
Autumn evening here. I'm readying the chimenea and the hot tub (came
with the house), and making a wish list of Mustang parts.
I feel that a new era of this group is underway, and I'm excited. I
hope all is well with you guys.
We haven't heard from Joe after Wilma hit Fla. If you're listening,
Joe, let us know what's going with you. I hope any news you have is
good news.

I don't get on here as often as I would like, it's just too busy at
work and home, most of the time I've got just enough left to jog a few
miles once in a while to keep the blood pressure down and get 5hrs or
so sack time. Anyway I just wanted to say I think the committee idea
is good, and now has some good members (I just read the thread). It
has my vote in any case. Maybe CJ will pass his TS files along to the
committee?

PS I did get a chance to wire my gauges up a week or so ago, so now I
actually have a working tach, volt meter, oil pressure gauge and -hmm
that's all I guess. No speedo or fuel gauge hookup yet. There's no
headlight switch yet, but I think I'll try to get that set up so I can
see the gauges at night! No point really because it's not legal yet,
but I want to see that red glow.

Hey Will
Yeah, it seems we're all quite pressed for time. And it seems like you
need more sleep! Glad to hear your endorsement of the committee. I
think it's going to work out well.
I don't know what files CJ had other than the revised posting rules I
just put up on my web page. I figure we're pretty much on our own. I
am planning to get a new members list together soon, and will start a
thread on it.
I've always used good full-sweep vacuum gauges in my Mustangs,
particularly those with vacuum-secondary 4v carbs. I've found them to
be great for diagnostic and tuning purposes, as well as for monitoring
fuel consumption. Glad to hear you're making progress on the Galaxie.
Gauge hookup and placement are always fun jobs for me. Yes, hook them
to the dimmer, way cool!

Better get your butt to Chaco Canyon and really be astounded.

She did actually mention it, and that we had to go. But this was in
between "the Saguaro...", "I backed over a juvenile Diamondback in the
driveway this morning, must be a nest" and "swamp coolers... 115
degrees...". Oh, and "the Plymouth stalled in traffic, tuned for 7000 ft."
We will likely end up down there next year. Any cool border towns for
us GRINgos to visit? =)
