I have a 96 explorer, v6, a/c, no climate control.
The blower stopped working, both in high and low speeds.
I got a subscription to alldata, and started reading up on it, then,
all of a sudden, for an entire afternoon, the blower worked (both high
and low speeds). I stopped and started the vehicle several times, and
it kept working. Then it stopped. Hasn't worked again.
The garage installed a new resistor, but that has done nothing. Where
do I go from here? Suggestions please.

I bough a Belt Dressing spray can at Napa, and sparyed the belt on both
sides, now it squeels worse than before, earlier I had tried a white
litheum grease on the outside of the belt and it squeeled louder, when I
put some on the inside of the belt track it quieted down but soon
resumed the squeel a bit louder than before the use of the white grease
arosol.
Might sound funny, but bar soap works pretty good.

You need to see if power is reaching the blower motor.
