i wrote a few months ago about my fuel problem....
"Can anybody give me an idea as to how to fix a fuel gauge that sits on
full all the time.my consoule also shows 700 plus to empty.it all started
when i was 4x4in and we started doing high speed mud bog runs.i thought that
maybe the float or level transmitter was stuck,but i have fueled it up
numerous times since with no change.
CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME ANY CLUES?

well i finally got tired of runnning out of fuel at the worst times and
places ,so i pulled the fuel tank out to check what the problem was,seems
that the last water crossing i did(see attached pic) i was going so fast and
the fuel level was down just low enuf to allow the sending unit to get
completly waded up in to the large access port for internal replacements,and
that is why that everything i did,that should make me get off my
procrastinating butt and find the problem.
