Rooftop Cargo Carrier for 2001 F-550 Crew Cab?

Has anybody ever tried to mount a cargo carrier on an F-550 crew cab roof?
If so, what did you use and how did it work?

Our F-550 bed is filled up with towing a large 5th wheel and we'd like to
put an enclosed cargo carrier on the roof of the truck to carry a few
items. Seems like most of the cartop carriers we've seen require factory
installed roof rails or door gutters for installation. Our truck has
neither.

Any suggestions or advice wouuld be appreciated.

I used to work in a bike shop and we'd put Thule rack systems on
vehicles without factoy racks or gutters all the time. Some of the
systems required no drilling, some did.

Try your local off-road, bicycle or outdoor outfitter shops and see
what they've got. I'm sure you're not the only one looking for this
type of solution...
