Can anyone help me clarify the rating for my tow hitch. I want to tow around
4500lbs but I read different things on different web sites. I've also read
about 'weight distribution equipment'. Is this it?

I have attached some photos of the hitch in question.

The rating of the hitch is right on the sticker.

The tow rating of the VEHICLE that it's attached to
is more important.

i've got now - the reciever can take 6000/600 providing I buy a weight
distributing hitch. If I use an ordinary hitch I can only haul 3500/300.
I'll check the GCVW on truck.
