1995 Contour Door lock module - Ford Forums

Widowed, next door neighbor has a 95 Contour. None of the interior door lock buttons will operate any of the door locks, either lock or unlock. Fuse 25 is OK. Haynes manual said to operate one of them 8 times in 10 seconds. I tried this with key off and then in the run position. No response, no buzzer, no clicks, no nothing. I suspect the Door Lock Module. Haynes book says it is behind glove box, but I have not looked yet. Any ideas? Can this module be checked? How much will it cost to replace? Thanks, Joe

Are you trying to get the electric door locks to work? or are you trying to program keyless remote?

I am trying to get the door locks to work with the push buttons on the inside of the car. There is no keyless entry feature on this car.

I would check all fuses first. Don't just go by what number it is supposed to be. Sometimes more than one fuse controls something, (I know, screwy). With a five dollar test light you can check all the fuses in a minute or less.
