1997 Mercury Mystique Water pump replacement!
My friend has a 1997 Mystique with a 2.0 16V Vtec that we started to replace the water pump on. We have been doing well up until we got to disconnecting the water pump output hose at the pump itself. Cannot access the hose clamp behind the mount holding the PS and AC pumps. Do you have to remove these accessories also or is there a way to get to this connection? We tried to at least loosen the mount for the AC and PS and could not even find the mounting bolts. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!!
