2001 Mondeo climate control
I've got a 2001 Mondeo Zetec with A/C and i'd like to "upgrade" it to climate control. I've got the climate control module but when i have a look at the back of the existing one it's not exactly the same.
On the back of the standard air con module there are two rectangular connectors and one which has a variable resisitor to control the fan speed.
On the climate control module there are just the two rectangular connectors.
I can connect the climate control module but I can't control the fan speed from it, with the center console out I can manually turn the fan speed resistor that should be on the back of the air con module.
As far as I can tell, the rest of it works, I can change the temperature, turn the A/C on and off and the recirculate button works.
Does anyone know if it's an easy modification to make the climate control work?
