I just got a 2002 Mondeo a couple of days ago. and now the windows open and close without anyboby touching the controls. anyone has an idea of what might be happening?
Sounds like the car has global/ one-shot closing, it's possible the GEM module is faulty. Might be worth re-setting first, you need to unplug the module, it's in the drivers footwell and has 5 or 6 plugs on it. Refit all plugs and check operation of windows, remote etc
